The Canon establishes the governing identity, purpose, principles, terminology, architecture, publication hierarchy, editorial standards, and development rules of RankingEngines and its Digital Asset Engineering body of knowledge. It is not a marketing document; it is the highest-level internal source of truth for the RankingEngines knowledge ecosystem, distinguishing the organization, its discipline, its maintained body of knowledge, its presentation platform, and its commercial applications.

Documentation & Publication Standard

RE-GOV-001

RE-GOV-001 establishes the documentation, publication, versioning, review, approval, maintenance, cross-referencing, supersession, and archival requirements for the RankingEngines body of knowledge. It keeps formal publications identifiable, consistent, traceable, and distinct from exploratory or promotional material. A document gains authority only through its controlled publication process, not from website presence or drafting.

Digital Asset Engineering

DAE-001

Digital assets such as websites, domains, structured content, knowledge repositories, datasets, software platforms, and machine-readable information influence how organizations are discovered, understood, trusted, and valued, yet are often managed through disconnected disciplines and short-term campaigns. DAE-001 defines the scope, principles, and engineering model of Digital Asset Engineering, treating assets as organizational infrastructure and emphasizing architecture, discoverability, authority, measurement, lifecycle management, governance, and stewardship.
